ABOUT ME
My name is Ella Rosoff, I am a lighting designer and technician currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio where I am pursuing a BFA degree in lighting design & technology at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).
I have a background in theater and dance lighting. Some of my recent works include Associate Designer of Student Choreographer’s Showcase, Assistant Lighting Designer on The World Goes Round and Wonderful Town, Programmer on Emilia, and Assistant Production Electrician on Coppelia, all at CCM.
My passion is in touring and live entertainment. I spent this past summer working for an event production solutions company called Showtime Sound in Frederick, Maryland, my home state. I spent the summer as a lighting technician for performers such as Lamb of God, T-Pain, and Vybz Kartel. I also got to be lighting designer for local festivals such as Artscape and performances at Big Cork Winery. I look forward to continuing doing work in this industry.
When I am not doing lighting, I enjoy watching ice hockey and Formula 1. I also try to attend as many concerts as possible because It’s important to me to continue being a fan of live entertainment even when it’s my job.
